Part-time Chiropractic Assistant

We have available a part-time position available for a Chiropractic Assistant. 

As our name implies we are a Holistic office. I am Dr. Heyer. I am a Chiropractor, an Acupuncturist and I use a good amount of nutritional supplementation in this office. We are a fun, fast paced office that uses these disciplines to ‘help sick people get well… and well people stay healthy’.

This is what I am looking for in an assistant;
 A person with a positive, upbeat personality.
 A good sense of humor.
 A self starter who has high expectations of them self and the place they work.
 An assertive person who can get the job done with a friendly personality.
 A person who is open and able to share our vision of a healthier future for our patients by using safe, alternative methods… not drugs or surgery.
 I am looking for someone who understands what it means to be a team player. Who has great people skills and knows how to effectively handle difficult situations with a smile and maintain composure.

Past experience with Chiropractic or Acupuncture or working for a practitioner is not necessary, but we would prefer someone with an open mind and an interest in exercise, well being and holistic care.

Important skills to have include; basic accounting skills, front desk(good people skills) and phone handling skills.

 It is also important for you to have a good working knowledge of basic computer skills. 

This position interacts with the public. It's vital that you are comfortable communicating with people you've just met.   

I am looking for an assistant who is neat, tidy and well organized. Someone who listens well to instructions, catches on quickly, and can be depended on to be accountable.

Bottom line… I need to feel comfortable to give my assistant whatever jobs I need done and know they will be handled efficiently and effectively!!!

Hours:
 Monday        2:30 pm to close
 Tuesday        12 noon to close
 Wednesday   2:30 pm to close
 Thursday      2:30 pm to close
 Friday           Off unless scheduled
• Saturday         Frequently 
• (It is suggested you try to arrive 5-mins. early. One minute late is considered late.)
(Close is usually between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm, this depends on patient load)

These are basically the hours. You can expect between 15-20 hours per week. 

Salary
 Hourly wage of $10 to 12.

Part-time Massage therapist position available!

This is a part time massage position. We are looking for someone to work two afternoons a week. More as the demand rises.

    Licensed/certified to do Massage Therapy in IL  
    Has been to a Chiropractor or is open to work in an alternative doctors office

Hours;  
    Two afternoons to start with.

Salary
    Hourly wage plus bonus when incentive goals are met.
